Hello, my name is Mandi, I am currently a dispatcher for Cayuga County 911 switching my schedule to part time and opening up my own business to do what I love and work with furry friends. I have lived with dogs my entire life and have cared for them since I was old enough to. I currently am a dog mom to a very high maintenance diva Dalmatian named Ember Rose and, her, rescue pup brother Guinness who is a Bodach (yes that is a thing, we tested his DNA) I have a very flexible schedule to include potential availability of overnight, weekend and holiday in home visits.

- All pet sitting visits occur in your own home so you can avoid the stress and hassle of boarding your pets when you are on the go, working or simply need a night out. I offer a variety of services/activities during scheduled visits including, feeding, fresh water, walking, playtime, administering medications, lots of belly rubs and snuggles.
- Typical hours for pet sitting will be from 7 am to 10 pm - outside of those hours I will consider clients for overnight workers and out of town clients. Pet sitting is available 7 days a week - to include holidays (holidays will be an extra charge) prices include care for up to two animals per home, please contact me directly to discuss homes with more than 2 animals.
- During the initial meet and greet with your pet I will create a profile for them to log what your expectations are for the visit.
- Drop in visits typically consist of a 20 min visit with pups to let them out for a potty break, quick belly rubs and a treat (or 2)
- Drop in / Exercise / Feeding visits typically consist of a 45 minute visit for longer walks, outside play if you have a fenced in yard and would prefer the pet stays home, feedings, medication administration and other needs if they differ from the before listed
- Special Services can be discussed to include, in home visits for cats that are self sufficient while you are out of town but need someone to stop in half way thru or a few times to make sure the food and water are full and the litterbox is emptied. I can also provide multiple visits per day if you have a day trip planned.
- If you are looking for multiple drop ins / feeding visits - going out of town and want your pup to stay in your home and not be boarded, I will do 3 visits a day, visits will be between 20-45 mins depending on dogs/pets needs -breakfast time , lunch or early afternoon whatever you prefer and then a dinner / bed time visit - if you are looking for more than 3 visits in a day message me for pricing or if you have more than two pups/animals (cats are easy they don't incur much add on cost) If you live outside of the 5 mile limit the add on would be just mileage so message me with the address and what not and we will come up with a price that works
- All prices listed below are based on a 2 pet home see below for additional pet prices

- Gone on a trip and your furry family member has been in a boarding facility and your stuck not going to make it for the pick up time - or your flight is a late flight and you want your furry family member home when you get there - I will pick them up get them home, fed, and settled in for your return ( prior to a K9 transport I will require a meet and greet- and the K9 must be able to ride safely in a vet)

If you need someone who will treat your pup like they are royalty, you’ve found the best candidate for the job! As someone who has dropped in and let Mandi’s dogs out in the past, I can attest that she is a few strands of DNA away from being a canine herself, she knows what they need before they even need it yet and takes better care of her own dogs than most humans can take care of their children. This is what Mandi was meant to do in life and if you want someone who is trustworthy taking care of your fur-kids, I’d pick Amanda Jessie every time! (She’s also one heck of a dispatcher that I will miss hearing her voice sending me on 911 calls at 3am… kinda!)
If you need someone to care for your animals - LOOK NO FURTHER - Amanda (Mandi) is the person to contact. I have known her all of her life (that's right I'm her mom : ) I currently have a 14 year old chocolate lab (Molly) and a 10 week old yellow lab puppy (Rosie the Raptor). Both sometimes require extra care so I myself have to use her services (medication, feeding and snuggling). As a young child and now as an adult Amanda has always had an extreme passion for animals - she has 2 dogs of her own that honestly live a life that any human or dog would be envious of! Recent changes in Amanda's 8 year 911 career have opened a door for her to pursue and share her knowledge and love for animals. If you are someone that wants to give your animals the best possible life but your job or play can get in the way, Amanda is your person. Mandi is one of the most dedicated, responsible, and loving pet owner and caregiver I know. Mandi is very educated on breeds and appropriate training, as well as boundaries.
